Photo+Adventure 2019 will take place on 9^th and 10^th November at the Messe Wien, Vienna. The Fair+Festival for Photography, Film+Video and Travel is one of the biggest photo fairs in the German speaking area and the only fair that unites the technical fields of photography and film/video with the boosting leisure and adventure topics - travel and the outdoors – perfectly well.

In 2019 a minimum of 20,000 visitors is expected - in continuation of the same visitor numbers of the years 2017 and 2018. About 270 exhibitors and brands, the high level of consultation by branch experts, the wide range of exhibitor activities and a comprehensive supporting program create the real infotainment-experience of Photo+Adventure

Exhibitors

Around 270 exhibitors and brands from the fields of photography, Film+Video, travel and outdoor will be presenting the usual colorful picture. The list of exhibitors will be available at http://www.photoadventure.at from the end of October 2019.

Once again in 2019, camera manufacturers and the accessories trade will offer everything a photographer's and film maker's hearts desire. In the digital age, photography and moving images are converging more and more. Photo+Adventure takes this fact into account with its own theme area "Film+Video". After the large success of the Film+Video - emphasis in the last year this area will be even extended.

The term "Adventure Travel" describes travelling as an experience, an adventure that everyone can define for themselves. For some, it's an adrenaline-driving or sporting challenge (such as ski touring or mountain biking), for others it's a photo touristic highlight such as safaris or expedition cruises, for many it's still the little adventures outside their front door, in a neighboring country or on city trips - the camera is (almost) always present.

Supporting Program

The supporting program of Photo+Adventure goes far beyond the usual trade fair scenarios and offers seminars, workshops, photo walks, live shootings, lectures, panel discussions, films, photo exhibitions and much more. The exhibitors will once again surprise visitors with a wide range of stand activities. Photo+Adventure has thus developed into a meeting place for a nature-oriented community and network platform for photographers and film makers and conscious travelers with a very special spirit. A meeting and melting pot of professionals and end consumers, which allows both groups to gain a deep insight into the needs of the other beyond their own professional and industry-specific plate edge.

National and international speakers such as Ulla Lohmann, Norbert Rosing, Laura Helena, Pavel Kaplun, Benny Rebel and Gunther Wegner offer valuable input on topics from all areas of photography and travel. The program and the cast of the film section will be announced in June.

In a nutshell

Since 2004 Photo+Adventure is a successfully established Trade Fair+Event concept with festival character around the leisure themes photography, Film+Video, travel and nature experience. For two days, the international photo, film and video industry will give an overview of the latest high-tech products and innovative possibilities of digital workflow as well as accessories of all kinds. The current trend towards the convergence of photography and moving images is thus being considered to an ever-increasing extent.
