Dear Photo+Adventure friends & visitors,
we look forward to welcoming you at the next Photo+Adventure. The Photo, Travel and Outdoor-Even! It will take place November 16th and 17th again at Messe Wien (Vienna Trade Fair).
The Photo+Adventure fair started out in 2004 as a small event with approximately 1,000 visitors. In its starting years the fair took place every other year following the “Photokina” fair, the world largest trade fair for the photographic and imaging industries. In 2010 the Photo+Adventure fair has reached new dimensions. For the first time set in a new location, the Congress Center Messe Wien, the fair and its more than 150 exhibitors attracted nearly 14,000 visitors. Since 2010 the Photo+Adventure fair takes place each year.
The 2010 sucess could even be topped in 2011 with a total of exactly 206 exhibitors (see exhibitors/list) and close to 16.000 visitors. The sensational visit on Saturday was disrupted by a knowledgeable lower densitiy on Sunday (for the fist time in the P+A's history) due to shining bright Mid-November weather. Giving prove, that there are loads of outdoor and nature enthusiats amongst the P+A-clientel. Just as promised by the organizers.
For the first time in 2012 the Photo+Adventure fair took place in the heart of Austria. This will give photography enthusiasts and adventure seeking visitors from the west of Austria an the neighbouring German and Cech areas easier acces. A new possibility to visit this unique event.
Our motto though stayed the same: Photo+Adventure = Fair+Event – in Linz almost 9.000 visitors went for a perfectly successful start in a new era: proving, that the Photo+Adventure conept works in any location, due to the fine selection of exhibitors (164 in Linz) and a comprehensive supporting program, full of photo shootings, multi-media and live adventure presentations as well as a wide range of seminars and workshops.
In 2013 Photo+Adventure will return to Vienna and reach new dimensions: For the first time the fair will take place in one of the big exhibiton halls (hall B with up to 15.000 sqm space for exhibitors and live events) and parallel in the Congress Center (lectures, photo exhibitions, conventions,...)
