8 & 9 November 2025 | Pyramide Vienna/Vösendorf
Photo+Adventure 2025 is history – and what a fair it was. Around 8,000 visitors made their way to the Pyramide Vienna/Vösendorf over two days and once again made the weekend what Photo+Adventure stands for: a lively meeting place for everyone who sees photography, travel and adventure not just as a hobby but as a way of life.
The atmosphere was exceptionally good. All over the Pyramide people were talking shop, trying things out, discussing and laughing – old acquaintances met again, new contacts were made, and quite a few left with their heads full of ideas for their next project or their next journey.
A programme that moves
The 2025 supporting programme showed the full range of what contemporary photography and travel photography are about – from technical craft to emotional storytelling.
In the seminars, five renowned speakers offered practical input: MELOURRA showed how strong images become a convincing online presence. Stefan Liebermann took visitors into the fascinating world of astro landscape photography. Lisa-Kristin Schrötter showed how photos bring cultures and encounters to life. Portrait photographer Martin Krolop turned light into something you can shape. And Dr. Günter Zöhrer combined photography and mindfulness into a meditative practice.
The workshops set their own accents: for the first time, podcasting was on the programme – Anja Prietl showed how photography and audio merge into a narrative form of their own. Armin Amano introduced the AI-supported possibilities of Adobe Photoshop, Stefan Liebermann devoted a workshop of its own to editing astrophotography for the first time, and Martin Krolop demonstrated what is possible with a single light source.
The exhibition by Ira Hilger – Vom Wesen der Pflanzen – offered a quiet counterpoint to the bustle of the fair: botanical charts reinterpreted as contemporary photographic art, inspired by everything from Ernst Haeckel to the present day.
