It’s here: our new website. Leaner, clearer, more direct – and built on what you have told us over the past few years.
Why a new website
In our last big survey, you told us quite directly where the problems were: the navigation was too complicated, programme items were strictly separated by category instead of by what really interests you, and the overall overview was more confusing than helpful. On top of that, the website as a whole was showing its age.
We took that seriously. The new website has a leaner structure, the navigation takes you more directly to what you are looking for, and the overall presentation is clearer.
Buying tickets – now easier
Buying tickets was also important to us. Until now, you first had to click through the shop just to see which tickets there are and what they cost. Now you will find the ticket overview directly on the home page – day ticket, day ticket for pupils and students, 2-day ticket, all prices at a glance. Choose the number, add to cart, done. No more searching for where in the menu the shop is hidden.
And the good news that goes with it: fair tickets are available now – at the early bird rate until 15 July, after that it gets a little more expensive.

Programme – soon in a new form
We also took the criticism of the programme to heart. Filtering and presentation have been reworked so you can find what suits you faster – instead of clicking through rigid categories. You should be able to search by what interests you, not by where we happened to file it. As soon as the 2026 programme goes online, you can try it out for yourself.
New: Journeys
So that you can find your way around from the start as a new visitor, there are now Journeys. Journeys are paths through a subject area – from getting started in photography and professional photography to animals & nature. There is also a dedicated path for content creators and for everyone who wants to photograph people. You choose the path that suits you and find everything relevant to you gathered there – instead of clicking through the entire programme yourself.

New: Bodypainting Shooting Area
In 2026 there is a dedicated Bodypainting Shooting Area for the first time – in cooperation with the World Bodypainting Association (WBA). Two contests take place on each day of the fair, where you can watch live as paint and skin become real works of art in a matter of hours.
There are separate, exclusive tickets for the Shooting Area. With them you secure one of the limited places at one of the shooting stations and photograph the bodypainting models yourself. You will find more details in the Bodypainting theme.
For exhibitors and the media
Even though this post is aimed mainly at our visitors: the new website also offers exhibitors and media representatives clearer routes – to the exhibitor documents as well as to the media area. If you have not yet registered as an exhibitor, you will find all the information on registration there.
What comes next
The new website is just the beginning. Next, we will publish our seminar and workshop programme. Shortly after that, we will present our main theme for 2026. Then comes our photo competition, and step by step further programme items will be added – until the full picture is complete.
